CA 125

A$30.00

Why test it?
CA 125 is a marker often used in tracking
ovarian health, particularly in monitoring cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, or ovarian cancer risk. It can also rise in other inflammatory or reproductive conditions. Elevated CA 125 doesn’t confirm cancer but warrants deeper investigation. It can be used as a watchpoint in reproductive health—especially when monitoring long-term pelvic inflammation or fibrotic changes.

⚠️ CA 125 Test Advisory

Please read before adding this test:

CA 125 is a biomarker commonly used to monitor ovarian health, particularly in the context of known conditions like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, or during cancer surveillance.

However, it is not a definitive screening tool for ovarian cancer and should not be used as a standalone diagnostic test—especially in women without symptoms or risk factors. CA 125 levels can rise due to a variety of non-cancerous conditions, including fibroids, pelvic inflammation, and even menstruation, leading to a high rate of false positives.

Because of this, we strongly recommend that first-time CA 125 testing be done under the guidance of your primary healthcare provider, particularly if you have concerns about ovarian cancer or a family history of reproductive cancers. Abnormal results should always be interpreted in the context of imaging and clinical assessment.

This test is best used as part of a broader conversation around reproductive health, symptom investigation, or structured follow-up care—not as a stand-alone screening tool.

Who is this for?
Recommended for women with persistent pelvic pain, bloating, abnormal cycles, family history of ovarian cancer, or in follow-up care.
